Notes: This was the second show of
the Summer DSO "Meet me at the Jubliee
Summer Tour 2012". They played a
inspired 2 set show of mostly 10/24/71.
Recorded with DPA mics from first
in back of SBD DFC. Mics on stand
at 7 feet. About 35 feet from line
arrays. Created a 6 track matrix.
Crowd banter is minimal when music
is playing. Sound at the venue was
good. Sound of recording is good.
Sound Quality: A-

Subject: Miss This and Your Ears Will Not Love You.
I’ve seen so many ‘Dead’ bands, ( including some of the nascent underpinnings of this band in Chicago up at Biddy Mulligan’s ), and this one the One. I continue to learn, grown, and discover from these guys. They litter the air with candy gum drops.
I love Phil. I pretty much like and respect Bobby. Furthur has provided some great moments. That said – DSO is the truly emerging as the source, the real deal. This line-up in particular is becoming so scary good is sends chills. Thank you – them’s some good assed chills.
As usual – all praise and gratitude to the taper – Great job – this is a great and very clean feed! Kudos.
Kids – grab this one. If you really love this music and what it’s all about – this is the genuine snot. If you aren’t pulling this one, you’re aren’t.
